Millennium R/C's X-Gear™ was designed for their Slow Stick X™, X-Trainer™ or the GWS Slow Stick, but is also adaptable to several other R/C models, as it can be mounted to a stick fuselage or adapted using the included adjustable mount to fit almost any light model airplane such as the E-flite Mini Edge or Mini Ultra Stick. A nice looking landing gear but you have to glue it all together as it came in a kit format. The piece that holds the wheel axle should have been molded together not glued as when installing the axle it opened up on me twice. I finally epoxied the two pieces together then drilled the hole to fit the threaded wheel axle.

I have installed X-Gear on the two GWS Slow Stick planes that I own. They are the best landing gears for the Slow Stick because the stock gear is a weak wire, a joke.
Pros: The best option in the market
Cons: The bottom part of X-Gear, where the wheel axle is attached, should be a single piece instead of two small plastic parts. Hint: It is extremely important to set it up with a lot of glue and let it set for 24 hours.

Excellent upgrade for the Slow Stick landing gear. I also ordered the steerable tail wheel. I appreciate the fast service and the fact that James responded to my questions on a weekend. Mothers' Day weekend at that. As I told James, when I tear up my foamy stick I'll order the wood kit. Great stuff, great service, great prices. Can't ask for much more than that. Thanks, James Karpy

I have used these on several slow sticks and find them an excellent upgrade to the very light duty GWS landing gear. Could not be more pleased with Millennium and their top quality gear.

I believe this is a great landing gear setup. I use them on floats, and with wheels.

I just finished putting one together, what I did different is the parts that needed to be glued, have nubs and holes to mate, on some wax paper I put some drops of CA and with a pin I put some on the holes, put the parts together and clamped, its on an old stick with built up wing/ailerons and tail feathers, will try to test soon, I think it will hold, will let you know.

The landing gear works well. The kit gear was wire and made landings a bouncy affair. the CF rods in X-gear is stiffer and makes landings much easier-no bounce. Love it!
